Red Deer, Alberta, October 12, 2005: Parkland Income Fund (TSX: PKI.UN) is pleased to announce that
its normal distribution of fifteen cents ($0.15) per trust unit will be payable on November 15, 2005 to
unitholders of record on October 31, 2005.
Parkland is confident that the outlook for its financial performance remains positive for the balance of
2005 and that cash generated by operations, after allowing for interest and maintenance capital
expenditures, will meet or exceed its targeted distributions to unitholders. Financial performance in the
third quarter of 2005 was strong as earnings on fuel sales strengthened substantially.
Parkland plans to release the results of the third quarter at the close of business on Tuesday, November 1,
2005. A conference call will be held for Analysts, Brokers and Investors to discuss third quarter results as
